John Cusack, who is better known today for his roles in "Runaway Jury"; "Being John Malkovich", and "Identity", also had a small part in Sixteen Candles. Appearing as Bryce, the nerdy sidekick to Anthony Michael Hall's Farmer Ted, Cusack (on the left of the top picture) was rarely seen without wearing some sort of geeky techno-device on his person. Cusack's big sister, Joan (bottom right photo) has an even smaller role in Sixteen Candles as an unnamed geek. Joan pops up throughout the film and damn near steals every scene she's in. Joan has since gone on to star in "Toy Story 1 and 2"; "Raising Helen"; "School Of Rock" and "High Fidelity" (in the latter film, she also starred with her brother).
